Installation of Ms. Sally Vonner

Church of the Disciple celebrates the installation of Ms. Sally Vonner as the First African American to lead the United Women in Faith, Inc. (formerly United Methodist Women) as CEO. UWF is incorporated in New York and is an agency of The United Methodist Church that seeks to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities. Sally will be installed on Saturday, July 29 at 3pm at Lover’s Lane UMC in Dallas, Texas. Our church UWF unit and members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are encouraged to attend.
